About the Role
Working as part of a small team within a large finance department, you will be expected to continue to provide the same level of service to our Travel Counsellors customers, ensuring that all virtual credit card payments to our external suppliers are reconciled and authorised in an accurate and timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring customer records are updated accurately to reflect payments made to secure customer purchases.
Principal Accountabilities
- Resolve unmatched credit card transactions to complete reconciliations.
- Reconcile multi-currency payments and calculate home currency equivalent.
- Card statement reconciliation and authorisation of transactions on client bookings
- Liaise internally with various departments and international head offices to resolve virtual credit card payment queries and discrepancies for external suppliers.
- Creation of manual virtual credit cards
- Maintenance of internal chat helpdesk and resolution of logged tickets with virtual credit card queries
- Other reasonable duties as directed by the VCC team leader
Required Experience
- GCSEs or A-Levels qualifications.
- 2-3 years relevant experience within a financial setting (desirable).
